Steven Holman is an estate planning and elder law attorney in Dallas. Steve focuses on developing estate plans for clients that fit their unique needs and wishes. This type of planning may include wills, revocable or irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney for financial or health care decisions, and advance directives.
Steve also represents clients who are beneficiaries, trustees or personal representatives and assists them in navigating the trust administration and probate process.
Additionally, Steve’s practice focuses on emerging Elder Law issues, specifically long-term care planning. Much of this focus is assisting clients plan for long term care including eligibility for Medicaid. Under this type of planning, assets can be preserved that would otherwise be used to pay for nursing home and related medical costs.
Prior to opening his own practice, Steve worked for an estate planning law firm in Southern California. He also previously worked for the FDIC in their structured transaction group.
Steve is licensed to practice in Texas and California. He lives in Lakewood with his wife, Mackenna and their family.
